Overview

Bespoke Joinery was formed in Darwen over a decade ago. Production began in a small unit at the front of the Olive Mill premises, with a workforce of just 3 people, servicing local tradesman and building contractors. Within 5 years, with the customer base expanding, more staff were taken on to meet the demand for the products and services being offered. The current premises were purchased in full along with the rest of the original Olive Mill, a total workspace of approximately 65,000 sq ft. By 2004 the business name was changed to Bespoke Complete Services Limited and the manufacturing business and contracting business became one and the same. Staffing levels had increased further with 16 people employed on the shop floor, and 20+ employed on a sub-contract basis undertaking site works.

The workshop has evolved over the last decade and expanded into a large part of the mill premises. The factory and storage facilities of the business were expanded to cover an area of 20,000 sq ft and there was considerable investment in plant and machinery over this period.The present facilities now boast Perska CNC overhead routers, Casolin 5 cutting moulding machines, Gibbs RF lipping presses, CNC 10 foot sliding table panel saws & Dominion sanders amongst many others.

Further expansion has now begun with a new warehouse and offices currently under construction. The business presently employs 18 skilled and semi-skilled tradesmen and has 6 vehicles operating from the site. We are currently building a new scheduling & operating system for the factory and are in the process of implementing ISO 9001 and entering into the BWF Certifire membership scheme, details of which will be updated in the news section of our website.
